Roxanne Belle Billey, formerly of Irving, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16 at her home in Collinsville. She was 61 years old.
Roxanne was born March 21, 1963 in Garland, Texas. She lived abroad during her formative years with her family in Saudi Arabia and attended the Marymount International School in Rome, Italy.She later attended classes at North Texas State University. Roxanne was an administrative professional by trade and retired from a career of human resource management with Prudential Insurance. Her grandchildren remember her as a fun and outgoing Mimi who loved them passionately. Roxanne loved her family, her dogs and her friends. She enjoyed working in the flower beds and tending her garden. Roxanne was at peace when she was of service to others, and she dedicated most of her adult life to helping others overcome obstacles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Fred Kayser.
Roxanne is survived by her daughter Jennifer Lewter, and husband Austin of Collinsville along with grandchildren Jackson Louis Lewter, Isabella Nicole Lewter, Mackenzie Lynn Lewter and Grace Layne Lewter. She is also survived by Jennifer’s father Robert D. Hall of Collinsville; brother Michael Williams and wife Jennifer; sister Tony Kayser-Boyd and husband Jeremy; nephew Foster Boyd; and sister Michelle Parker; along with special friends Teri Schiera and Rick Parker; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time. A celebration of life for Roxanne will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Memorial donations can be made to the Grayson County Children’s Advocacy Center or the Tioga High School Band Booster Club.
