Funeral services for Ronald Montgomery Davidson, 73, will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Ethel Cemetery. There will be no visitation service.
He passed away at his residence in Collinsville, Texas on June 26, 2013.
He was born on October 26, 1939 to Clifton and Miriam (Bates) Davidson in Sherman, Texas. He married Glenda McDowell on January 12, 1962 in Bonham, Texas. He was a member and an Elder of the Ethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a gospel singer and musician. He was a good photographer and enjoyed many different hobbies. He enjoyed spending time with his family and with his animals.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Davidson of Collinsville, TX; Tonya Burden and her husband, Johnny, of Oklahoma City, OK: Robin Smith and her husband, David, of Collinsville, TX; grandsons: Bo Scott Tarver and Joshua Raymond Montgomery Smith; and a brother, Jon Davidson, and his wife, Lonnette, of Collinsville, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Miriam Davidson.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Smith, Wayne McCorkle, Jerry Acker, Tony Smith, David Smith and Johnny Burden.
