February 7, 1959 – June 4, 2014 RONALD STOGNER, Sr.SADLER – Celebration of life services for Ronald “Ronnie” Stogner, Sr., 55, will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at the Sadler Cemetery in Sadler, Texas, with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. All services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Visitation services will be held on Sunday, June 8, from 7-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
He passed away on June 4, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ronnie was born on February 7, 1959 to John Richard Stogner and Freddie Ellen (Clark) Stogner in Denison, Texas. He married Roxieann Norman on August 28, 1974 in Durant, Oklahoma. He was an electrical contractor. He loved his wife, Roxieann, his children, and his grandchildren. He especially loved dogs and animals. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was a member of the Sadler Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Roxieann Stogner, of Sadler; son, Ronnie Stogner, Jr. of Sadler; daughter, Jamie Doty, and husband, Justin, of Enid, OK; grandchildren: Riley, Trey, Alexis, Brennan, and George “Brantley”; father, John Stogner, of Denison; three sisters: Melinda Huffman of Portage, IN; Patricia Woolsey of Durant, OK; and Donna Parkhill and husband, Wesley, of Gainesville; mother-in-law, Mary Norman; sister-in-law, Mary Smith, and husband, Kenneth; brother-in-law, Charles Norman, Sr.; sister-in-law, Linda Perkins; sister-in-law, Mildred Widner; sister-in-law, Judy Jones, and husband, Howard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Freddie Ellen Stogner; and his sister, Deborah Lynn Stogner.
