Ronald Gene Hutson, 71, of Gainesville passed away on February 10, 2022, at the North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville with his family by his side. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Coker Cemetery in Bulcher. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meador Funeral Home.
Ronald was born on October 18, 1950, to Richard and Margie Gray Hutson in Montague County, TX. Ronald married Patricia Garrett on July 18, 1975 in Gainesville, Texas. He worked for the City of Gainesville for many years as the groundskeeper at the Fairview Cemetery. Ronald loved to go fishing and camping. He enjoyed gardening and loved being outdoors. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and he loved them all very much.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Hutson of Gainesville; son Richard James Hutson; daughter Leasa Lyn Hutson; sisters Patsey Hatch and Barbara Sims; brothers Harold and Bill Hutson. Ronald is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, infant brother James Hutson; sisters Mary Rogers and Betty Holloway and brother Loyd Hutson.
Patricia, so sorry to hear about Ronalds passing. I always enjoyed visiting with both of you at the bank before I retired. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Ma’am I’m sorry about Ronald Gene I am his cousin Donna. Our Mothers were sisters. I tried to find him for years did find Billy. Our Deepest Condolences to you and yours. Rip
