Roger Delroy Kerr, 83, of Collinsville, Texas was called to his eternal home on Sunday, January 18, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Roger was born on October 13, 1942 in Cooke County, Texas to Alford and Florine (Thompson) Kerr. He was a 1961 graduate of Collinsville High School and attended Grayson County College. On September 3, 1971 he married Clara Dawkins and together they raised three children. He retired as a manager at Russell Newman Manufacturing in Denton. Roger was a member of the Whitesboro Masonic Lodge, and he enjoyed hunting, old cars and watching TV.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Kerr of Collinsville; son, Vince Kerr and partner,  Ash of Collinsville; son, Brad Kerr and wife, Kay of Collinsville, daughter, Lesa Reed and husband, Jeff of Collinsville; grandsons, Brandon Kerr, Michael Kerr and partner, Jhony, Tyler Kerr, Dalton Kerr, Austin Reed and wife, Ashley, and granddaughter, Anna Reed, great-grandchildren, Sawyer Kerr, Finley Reed, Leighton Reed, Palmer Reed and Maddox Kerr, sister, June Stephenson and her husband, Jay, his beloved pets, dogs, Brandi and JR. and cats, Buddy and Lucy.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Alford and Florine Kerr, and grandson, Christopher Kerr.
Graveside services honoring Roger will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Collinsville Cemetery, officiated by Ricky Patterson. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
