Roberta (Bonnie) Larraine Garrett, 80, of Gainesville, TX passed away on February 1st, 2021 at the Gainesville Health and Rehab. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.
Bonnie was born on April 10th, 1940 in Cortland, NY to Chester and Virginia Burns. She worked for 28 years for the Refinery Rd Vet Clinic in Gainesville. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved Knitting, puzzle books, watching court tv and loved to go shopping.
She is survived by her daughter Tammie Garrett of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law Dale and Pam Garrett of Whitesboro; daughter Debra Martin of Gainesville. 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Virginia Burns and one brother Don Burns.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Gainesville Health and Rehab and Ardent Hospice for their care and support.
We worked together for years. She was a good lady.
Bonnie was a great friend to me all the years we worked together. She loved Beanie Babies,Elvis and my Eggrolls at Christmas! She always had an ear and shoulder waiting on me when I needed it. Love her for that
