Robert Lyndon Reeves, 86, of Valley Mills, Texas passed away on August 28, 2025 at his son’s home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 2, 1938 in Gainesville, Texas to Robert Lee Reeves and Willie Lee (Ward) Reeves.  Robert married the love of his life, Gloria Estes in Gainesville, Texas on November 25, 1960. He loved his wife and also loved spending time together and missed her dearly when she passed on March 6, 2025. Robert attended University of Oklahoma and Southwestern School of Pharmacy.  He also loved old cars, horses and cattle. Robert’s favorite thing to do was watching his grandkids play baseball and spending time with family.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Elisha Thompson and John of Gilmer, Texas; son, Ken Reeves and Christine of Valley Mills, Texas;Â grandchildren, Amanda Creswell, Kenton Weaver, Cassie Jones, Dustin Reeves, Colton Reeves and Brandon Reeves; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, Donna Finley and Lisa Estes; nephew, Stephen Hatcher; several close cousins and longtime friends.
Preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Gloria Reeves.
Visitation will start at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Meador Funeral Home, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville. Funeral service will begin at 2:00pm presided by Wayne Neu and Pat Richardson.

I could always depend on Robert at Eckards in Gainesville. I always heard we were related, never could figure out how? I was a Reeves (Jack and Pauline Reeves ) .He was so nice to me.

I am so sorry to see this. I was unaware until now. Robert was an amazing man. I worked with him when he would fill in as a pharmacist at Plaza Pharmacy. He will be missed. Hugs to his family that he loved dearly!!!
