Richard Andrew Huffstetler, 52, of Collinsville passed away on October 2, 2018, at his home. He was born on October 11, 1965, to Richard Ray Huffstetler and Mary Carlene (Lowry) Huffstetler in McKinney, Texas. Richard grew up in the Whitesboro area and will always be remembered as a kind person who was loved and admired by many people. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Richard is survived by his wife Kim; three daughters, Ashley Huffstetler of Paris, Texas; Allison Schelsteder and husband Dewayne of Bowie, Texas; Jessica Huffstetler and partner Kianna of Denison, Texas; step-sons David Krumnow of Lewisville, Texas and Kyle Krumnow of Collinsville, Texas; three sisters, Karen Hagenbart of Centerville, Texas; Pam Travis of Anna, Texas; Jennifer Ragsdale of Collinsville, Texas; grandchildren Jacob Cox and Addison Cox; Caleb Schelsteder and Madison Schelsteder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Jacob Huffstetler.

Care of Mr. Huffstetler is under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville, Texas.
