Rebecca “Becky” Enderby, 77, of Celina passed away on May 20, 2025 at Joyful Journey Assisted Living in Denton, Texas.
She was born to James Harold and Alma Ruth (Sturdy) Simpson on December 23, 1948. She married Carroll Hunter Enderby on August 14, 1982. Becky had an entrepreneurial spirit and pursued many business ventures over the years, such as, a gas station, real estate office, cafe, daycare, and convenience store. Always putting others before herself, she also dedicated many years after her retirement, caring for numerous aging family members. She especially loved traveling with her husband, sister Vickie and husband Marion and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Dana Olvera and husband, Angel of Celina, Texas; son, Michael Palmertree and wife, Karace of Mannsville, Oklahoma; sister, Vickie Farrell and husband, Marion of Collinsville; brother, Mike Burns and wife, Kim of Paris, Texas; sister, Pat Wade and husband, Mike of Waxahachie, Texas; brother, Dale Simpson and wife, Fran of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren, Hunter, Macy, Kenzli, Lilly, Kellen, Rylee, and Jaxon; and great-grandchildren, Jace, Sable, Grace, and Remi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carroll, sister, Barbara Evans, and sister, Cathy Burns.
Special thanks to the amazing staff at A Joyful Journey Assisted Living in Denton, Texas for always going above and beyond to provide exemplary care of our mom/grandma.
Graveside services honoring Becky will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Collinsville Cemetery in Collinsville, Texas, officiated by Rev. Rick Carney. No formal visitation is scheduled.
We will miss her smiles and warm hugs. She made everyone feel welcomed.
