With deep sorrow and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Ralph Raymond Martinez, who departed this life on April 29, 2025, at the age of 83 surrounded by loved ones. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Ralph lived a life marked by kindness, integrity, and an unwavering love for his family.

Born on July 25, 1941, to Miguel Martinez & Vicky Martinez, Ralph grew up with strong values and a deep appreciation for hard work and family— principles that became the core of his life. Throughout his life, he was known for his warm heart, steady wisdom, a good story, and quiet strength. Whether he was sharing stories, offering advice, or simply lending a helping hand, Ralph touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Ralph was married to Andrea Martinez of Valley View, Texas, for 35 years. Marrying on August 24th of 1990. The couple made Valley View their home in 2003, where they built a life filled with love and lasting memories.

Throughout his life, Ralph wore many hats with pride and passion. He was a respected football official and a skilled jeweler, proudly owning and operating his own jewelry store. After retiring from his professional life, Ralph found joy in the simple pleasures—most notably becoming an avid bargain hunter, always on the lookout for a great deal and a good story.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Miguel Martinez and Vicky Martinez, son Darin Martinez & his sister Jesse Brown. He is survived by his loving wife Andrea Martinez; his children Quentin Martinez, Jeff Henry (wife Charlie Henry), Renae Hammonds (husband Chris Hammonds); His grandchildren Colton Wilson, Jenna Sutherland, Mia Smith (Husband Carter Smith), Erika Martinez, and Jessica Henry. He also leaves behind two beloved great-grandchildren, Emerson Stanley and Brody Willson. Ralph is also survived by his sister Juanita Salinas and a host of extended family and friends who will forever hold his memory dear.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, laughter, and lasting memories. Ralph’s presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of his family and all who loved him.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, Ralph’s love will remain a guiding light in our lives.
