August 19, 1918 –  December 29, 2010  COLLINSVILLE – Pauline Armstrong passed on to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in Sherman, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at First Baptist Church Collinsville with Bro. Jerry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Collinsville Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas.Pauline, age 92, was born August 19, 1918 in Gordonville, Texas. She was the youngest child of Thomas S. and Rosie J. Brock. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Eura Cook, Hassie Ramsey, and Artha Williams and one brother, Floyd Brock. Pauline was an employee of the Collinsville ISD cafeteria for over two decades.
She was a loyal member of First Baptist Church Collinsville having served in numerous capacities during her seventy years of membership.
Pauline was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Pauline Armstrong is survived by one daughter, Jo Ellen Carney of Collinsville, TX; two sons, Jimmy Don Armstrong of Dallas, TX; and Jerry Lynn Armstrong and wife, Nancy, of Collinsville, TX; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2011 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas.
