January 27, 1930 –  August 9, 2011  SANDUSKY – Funeral services for Norma Jean Stowe, 81, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Jim Cragg and John Dennis officiating. Interment will follow at Allison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 P.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the funeral home.
She passed away on August 9, 2011 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital – WNJ.

Norma Jean was born on Jan. 27, 1930 in Red Branch, Texas to William Graydon Rich and Ada Pearl (Denton) Rich. She married Bill Stowe in July of 1982 in Gainesville, Texas. She owned and operated the Sandusky Store from 1972 to 1998. Norma Jean had a dynamic personality. She never met a stranger and always spoke her mind. She dearly loved her family and was always young at heart.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Stowe of Sandusky; 3 daughters, Rhonda Miller and husband, Mike of Sandusky, Gayle Hanning and husband, Royce of Sandusky, and Kay Johnston and fiancee, Bobby Dickey of Wichita Falls; 8 grandchildren, Emily Johnston, Jennifer Johnston, Derek Kleinert, Kristian Kleinert, Colten Johnston, Justin Blakley, Tommy Blakley, Jordan Hanning and Malorie Dickey; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Barbara Ann Rich; and a brother, Kenneth Rich.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
