Norma grew up in Gainesville, Texas where she met and married her dearly loved Bobby Maurice Richardson. They lived in several south Louisiana cities until they retired to Austin, Texas. She loved gardening, keeping up her home and the companionship of her children and extended family in Gainesville. Norma lived the traditional life of a wife and homemaker but had many surprising talents. She was the first woman to bowl a perfect score in Lafayette, LA, established her own pro shop business and won many women’s bowling tournaments.
