Naylan Donald Vanzant, 91, of Whitesboro, Texas was called to his eternal home on Monday, April 28, 2025,
Naylan was born in Tara, Texas on August 17, 1933. He married Patty Burnside on August 17, 1956 in Belen New Mexico. Naylan was retired from the United States Air Force and from real estate. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. He played at different churches throughout the area.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Vanzant of Whitesboro; daughter, Pamela Vanzant of Denton; five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, sister, Donna Jo and brother-in-law, Bill Burnside.
Naylan was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Terry Lynn, and son, Naylan.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Currently there are no services scheduled.
