November 26, 1961 –  April 5, 2017  Mike West, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his residence in Gainesville at the age of fifty-five. He was born in Lockney, Texas on November 26, 1961, the son of George and Roxie (Sloan) West. Mike was employed as a truck driver.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10th at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Rev. Lonnie Dotson will be officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include three sons, Josh West of Gainesville, Jacob West of Washington and Daniel West of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Reba West of Anchorage, Alaska and Dallas West of Carrollton; six grandchildren, Bentley, Jacob, Jr., Cody, Blake, Ryder, and Gunner; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Melissa West of Denison; father, George M. West, Sr. of Gainesville; and nephew, Slayter West. He was preceded in death by his mother.
