July 3, 1909 – October 11, 2007 WHITESBORO รข?? Funeral Services for Mary Willie Eldredge, 98, will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 15, 2007 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Jerry Davis and Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment will follow in Basin Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Willie passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
She was born July 3, 1909 in DeLeon, Texas to Robert and Ollie (White) Welch. Willie married Chester Page Eldredge on May 31, 1925 in Gainesville, Texas. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Glenn Eldredge of Mineral Wells; three daughters, Bobbie Ruth Lamkin of Garland, Jeane Hartline of Whitesboro and Shirley Ann Thomas of Carolina Beach, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Eldredge; a son, Carrolton Eldredge; her parents, Robert and Ollie Welch; 2 sisters, Jessie Woolsey and Ellen Carney.
Grandsons and Great-Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
