Mary Louise Green,81, of Gainesville passed away on November 11, 2024, at her residence with family by her side. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 14th at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with burial to follow at the Callisburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the funeral home.

Mary was born on February 19, 1943, in Thackerville, Oklahoma, to John Hooper and Virgie Beaver. Mary was a hairdresser and enjoyed that profession for many years, once retired she loved to be outdoors gardening or working in her flower beds. She was a fabulous cook and loved baking for her family. In her early years, she loved to bowl on a league in Gainesville with her sister and daughter, Cindy. Mary was a social shopper, she always had an entourage with her on those shopping excursions. She loved her family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether it was a day out, a ballgame or rodeo, she was in the middle of every crowd. Mary also loved to dance. She lost her dancing partner too soon but they are dancing in Heaven now, forever.

She is survived by her sons, Darrell Green and wife Lisa, Danny Green and wife Amy; daughters Cindy Ramsey and husband Tracy, Teri McGahey and husband Chubby; grandchildren Cody, Casey, Micheal, Jason, Jeremy, Troy, Hannah, Heath, Jodi, Brent, Keri, Cody, Coby, Lyndsey, Brad, Toni, Erin, Alecia, Tara and Eli. Mary had 54 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She has one sister, Betty Williams of Callisburg, one brother Clint Reeves and wife Peggy of Cypress and one Sister-in-law Gail Reeves of Thackerville. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Harold Green; infant son, Monte; parents John Hooper and Virgie Young; great-grandson Walker  H.D. Thomas and brother, Steve Reeves.
