September 1, 1955 –  May 27, 2004  Mary Elizabeth Hitt, age 48, of Whitesboro, formerly of Jefferson, died Thursday, May 27, 2004 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
Funeral Services will be 10A.M., Monday, May 31, 2004 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Ernest Sigrest officiating, assisted by Rev. Crispen Bradsher. Interment will follow in Macomb Cemetery in Grayson County. Visitation will be Sunday, May 30, 2004 from 3 to 5 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mary was born September 1, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY to Stanley and Alice Kalsky. Before moving to Whitesboro in January, she lived and worked as a bus driver for the Jefferson ISD in Jefferson, Texas.

She married J. Michael Hitt on September 13, 1991 in Sherman.

Mrs. Hitt is survived by her husband, Mike Hitt of Whitesboro; her father, Stanley Kalsky of Royersford, PA; 2 sons, Ryan Kent of Ada, OK and Chris Soto of Ada, OK; 3 daughters, Erin Hogue of Durant, OK, Nicole Kent of Jefferson and Krista Hitt of Whitesboro; Sister, Alice Enriquez and husband Danny of Staten Island, NY, 3 brothers; Richard Kalsky and wife Teresa of Long Island, NY, Edward Kalsky and wife Miriam of Royersford, PA., Stanley Kalsky and wife Erin of Upstate NY and 5 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Kalsky.
