December 26, 1941 –  September 17, 2006  Graveside Services for Mary Ann Margaret Steele, 64, will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro with Rev. Antonio Aureus officiating, directed by Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. There will be no formal visitation.
Mrs. Steele passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

She was born December 26, 1941 in Staten Island, NY to Stanley and Irene (Housman) Boris. She married Eugene Steele on July 21, 1971. She worked as an accountant for ARMCO Steel in Houston.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Steele of Sherman; two daughters, Kelly Hayes and husband Bill of Whitesboro and Karen Metz and husband Cal of Lusby, MD; her father, Stanley Boris, Sr. of The Woodlands; a brother, Stanley Boris, Jr. and wife Kay of Conroe; two grandchildren, Sarah and Charlie Hayes of Whitesboro; an aunt, Jean Tiel of Brick Township, NJ; an uncle, Larry Housman of Morristown, NJ and several nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Boris.
