September 4, 1928 –  April 6, 2015  Lake Kiowa resident, Mary Ann Howell, 86, passed away on Monday April 6, 2015 at her home with her husband of over sixty years by her side. Mary Ann was born in Seattle, Washington on September 4, 1928 to John and Erna (Dahl) Selford. She married Wayland Howell on August 2, 1954 at Palos Verdes Estates, California. Mrs. Howell had worked as the Office Manager for the Bureau of Reclamation.
In addition to her husband Wayland, Mary Ann Howell is survived by children and their spouses, Dave and Dawn Howell of Keller, Patricia and John Laubhan of Page, Arizona and John Howell of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Danielle Howell, Devon Howell, Destiny Howell, Michael J. Laubhan, and Canice Laubhan; great-grandchildren, Chris Laubhan and Kayley Laubhan and sister, Joen Selford of Long Beach, California.

Cremation is under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Gainesville. No services are scheduled at this time.
