Marsha grew up in Gainesville where she was a 1965 graduate of Gainesville High School.  Marsha then moved to Fort Worth to attend Texas Christian University where she received her teaching degree while graduating from TCU in 1969.  In 1970 Marsha married Gainesville High School classmate Tim Keathley (class of 1964) and they had two sons Derek & Jason and a grandson Wesley.  Tim and Marsha had just celebrated their 50th Anniversary this year.

Mrs. Keathley began her teaching career in 1970 in Brock, Texas before accepting a job in the White Settlement ISD where she received multiple awards including Teacher of the Year for 1993-1994.  Mrs. Keathley retired in 2011 after 42 years of teaching, she claimed it was the best job she ever had because it was with some of the best people she ever knew.
