December 3, 1933 –  March 25, 2007  GORDONVILLE รข?? Graveside Services for Mark Durden, 73, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Gordonville Cemetery with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
Mr. Durden passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

He was born on December 2, 1933 in Fluvanna, Texas to Kenneth and Jonnie (McDonald) Durden. Mark served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of the Lewisville Masonic Lodge as a 32nd Degree Mason and the Scottish Rite. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW of Denton. Mark loved to fish, had a great sense of humor, loved woodworking, and was a grand tinkerer.

Mark is survived by his wife, Lorena Thomas of Gordonville; two sons, Ty Durden of Yazoo City, Mississippi and Dean Durden of Yazoo City, Mississippi; a daughter, Marquetta Crittenden of Clinton, Mississippi; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; two step- children, Denise Miller of Houston and Ronnie Hooten of Kemper; two step-grandchildren, Andy and Renee Miller of Houston; three brothers, Tom Durden of Richardson, Jim Durden of Early and Cleve Durden of Peru; and one sister, Jane Horton of Biloxi, Mississippi.
