Marie Cunningham (90), passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville. She was born March 25, 1926 to Joseph Stevens and Sarah Alida (Robbins) Stevens in Oswalt, OK. She married Kenneth Cunningham on September 12, 1959 in Sulphur, OK. She was a homemaker, avid fisherman and arrowhead hunter.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3rd at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Murray McMurray officiating. Interment will follow at New Resthaven Cemetery in Gainesville. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 2nd at Meador Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Cunningham of Gainesville; 3 Sons; Stephen & Earlene Shults of Thackerville, Joe & Connie Shults of Gainesville and Roy & Butchie Cunningham of Gainesville; 2 daughters, Mary Porter of Gainesville and Karen & Vep Ellis of Thackerville; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchilden; 2 brothers, Buck Stevens of Greenville, OK and Larry Stevens of Overbrook, OK; 3 sisters, Ozelle Hostetler of Devine, TX, Beatrice Cunningham of Gainesville and Sarah Joe Scott of Lebanon, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Lorne Stevens.
