July 19, 1924 –  January 16, 2014  Graveside services for Margie Mae McDonald, 89, of Gainesville will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18th at Nelson Grove Cemetery with Rev. David Whittington officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Friday at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home. Mrs. McDonald passed away January 16, 2014 at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center.
Margie was born on July 19, 1924 to Jackson Charles and Verlie (Akins) Gunter in Collinsville, Texas. She married Albert McDonald December 16, 1944 in Gainesville, Texas.

Margie McDonald is survived by a son, Ken McDonald of Woodbine, daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Mike Hines of Woodbine; four grandchildren, Clay McDonald, Kenna Rausch, Brian Hines and wife, Deborah and Ami Ware and husband, Justin; five great-grandchildren, Madisyn Rausch, Natalie and Austin Hines and Hannah and Hudson Ware; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Boyd Gunter and sister, Jackie Proffitt.

Services are under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
