Graveside services for Margarette B. Sanders, 93, of Whitney, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas. A time of visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville, Texas.
She passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019.
Ms. Sanders was born in Aubrey, TX on December 1, 1925 to William Copeland and Elizabeth (McBride) Copeland. She married Wesley Sanders on September 18, 1944 in Denton, Texas. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Hurt; daughter, Gail Sanders; son, Mike Sanders; son, Carroll Sanders; and sister, Betty Foster.
Ms. Sanders was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elizabeth Copeland, husband, Wesley Sanders, sons, Larry Sanders, Bobby Sanders, Jimmy Sanders and Thomas Sanders.
