November 23, 2014 –  June 27, 2016  Graveside services for nineteen month old, Madelyn Grace Slaven of Gainesville will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1st at Fairview Cemetery Pavilion with a family member officiating. Visitation will be at Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Madelyn was born November 23, 2014 in Gainesville, Texas to Stephanie MacArthur and Curtis Slaven. She passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at North Texas Medical Center.

Survivors include mother, Stephanie MacArthur of Gainesville; father, Curtis Slaven of Gainesville; grandmother, Betty Creston of Gainesville; grandfather, Steve Felkner of Sanger; grandmother, Sally Hayslip of Gainesville; step-father, Taylor Hostetlar of Gainesville and uncle, Matthew MacArthur of Gainesville.
