November 3, 1943 – August 4, 2011 Mac William Parker, 66, died August 4, 2011 at Texas Heath Presbyterian รข?? Wilson N. Jones with his family by his side.
Mac was born November 3, 1943 in Healdton, Oklahoma to Benjamin Franklin and Lola Parker. On November 3, 1964 he married Ann Stephenson in Gainesville where they still reside. He attended school in Healdton, Oklahoma where he excelled in football and baseball. He also served in the United States Navy for a short time. Mac worked at Weber Aircraft before becoming self-employed as a welder until his retirement in 2006. He was a kind and loving husband, father and friend who loved to do nice things for others. He loved watching football, spending time in his shop listening to his music, spending time with his family and reading his Bible.
Mac Parker is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Ann Parker of Gainesville, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Johnny Clements of Gainesville, Texas; sisters, Joyce Fowler of Ringling, Oklahoma, Shirley Hancock of Healdton, Oklahoma, Corine Davis of Graham, Oklahoma, Virginia Parker of Sulphur, Oklahoma; brothers, Ben Parker of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Burt Parker of Bing, Oklahoma and Randy Parker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Parker and Lola Parker and brothers, Reynolds Parker and Donnie Parker.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2011 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Gainesville, Texas with Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating.
Cremation is under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
