July 24, 1917 –  January 12, 2015  Loucille Hutcherson was born in Fannin County, Texas on July 24, 1917 to Malcom “Mac” and Mary Atnip Warren. She was blessed to live a long, healthy, and very fortunate life. She passed away on January 12, 2015 at the age of 97 in Gainesville, Texas.Loucille married James Paul Hutcherson in 1934 and they moved from Fannin County to the Hays Community in Cooke County in 1941. In 1950 they settled in Era where they became active members of the Era Community. Loucille worked alongside Paul, a dairy & beef farmer, for over 50 years. She remained active in the Era Community for many years while working as a sales consultant for Home Interiors as well as for Avon. She moved to Gainesville in 1998.
Loucille was a woman of strength and character who possessed a great deal of energy. She delighted in spending time with her family and many friends. She loved to cook, entertain, and play cards and dominoes. Her devotion to her family was second only to her devotion to the Lord. She was an active and life-long member of the churches of Christ in Era and Gainesville.
Loucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; brothers, Bob and Joe Warren and sister, Frances Parten. She is survived by her children, David Hutcherson and his wife Karla of Gainesville and Don Hutcherson and his wife Fran of Sanger. She is also survived by her grandchildren Greg Hutcherson of Gainesville, Daren Hutcherson of Gainesville, Bradley Hutcherson of Highland Village, Brian Hutcherson of Ponder, Barry Hutcherson of Denton, and Donna (Hutcherson) Lee of McKinney; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with David Gray and Ben Willingham officiating. Interment will follow at the Era Cemetery in Era, Texas. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
