August 4, 1930 – September 4, 2013 Former Gainesville resident, Lottie Belle Hamilton died Wednesday, September 4th at Corinth Rehabilitation Suites at the age of eighty-three. She was born August 4, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Harold and Catherine (Arenz) Parker. Lottie Belle married Raymond P. Hamilton February 16, 1946 in Gainesville. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Hamilton was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church for many years.
Graveside services for Lottie Belle Hamilton are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7th at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Duke Dowling officiating. A celebration of her life will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Survivors include children and their spouses, Butch Hamilton of Ardmore, Catherine and Ed Fitzpatrick of Ponder, David Lee Hamilton of Sherman, Paul and Holly Hamilton of Corinth, Barbie Schmidt and Trojan Baker of Gainesville and Fred Hamilton of Ardmore; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Harold Lawrence Parker and sister-in-law, Wanda Lee Coleman.
