August 13, 1919 –  February 28, 2007  COLLINSVILLE â?? Graveside Services for Lois Marie Wheeler, 87, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Collinsville Cemetery with Olden Cook officiating under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. No formal visitation is planned.
Mrs. Wheeler passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the Meadowbrook Care Center in Van Alstyne.

She was born on August 13, 1919 in Sevier County, Arkansas to William and Jettie (Miller) Johnson. She married Lee Wheeler on June 20, 1941 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a longtime resident of Collinsville and she worked for 22 years at the Collinsville Care Center.

Survivors include three daughters, Delia Heffington of Collinsville, Linda Doherty and husband James of Prattsville, Arkansas and Patricia â??Kayâ? Montgomery and husband Greg of Van Alstyne; two sons, Charles Wheeler and wife Ruth of Braman, Oklahoma, and Robert Wheeler, Sr. of Sherwood Shores; 13 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
