March 24, 1919 –  November 8, 2006  Whitesboro รข?? Graveside Services for Linnie P. Roberts, 87, will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006 at Sadler Cemetery with Rev. Carl Douglas officiating, directed by Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Linnie passed away Wednesday, November 08, 2006 at her home in Whitesboro.

She was born on March 24, 1919 in Dexter to James and Callie (Center) Parker. Linnie married Mike Roberts on June 6, 1936 in Gainesville. She was a gentle, unassuming lady, but a formidable force when protecting her loved ones. Linnie was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, artist and friend. She loved them all and is loved in return. That is the largest canvas she painted.

She is survived by a daughter, Marlys Ann Housley of Chula Vista, California; two sisters, Willie Mae Stuckey-Osborne of Whitesboro and Lucille Hill of Lewisville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Callie Parker; her step-mother, Gladys Randolph Parker; a son, Thomas Carroll Roberts; her husband, Mike Roberts; three brothers, Austin, Aubrey and Fred Parker.
