November 12, 1954 – February 1, 2017 Funeral Services for Linda Kay (Justice) Owens, 62 of Whitesboro, Texas will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Linda passed away at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas Wednesday, February 1, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born to Billy J. and Katherine Elaine (Besaw) Justice on November 12, 1954 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She married Billy Owens on November 15, 1974 in Dallas, Texas. She enjoyed football “pots” and going to the Casino. Linda had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. She was an extremely crafty person. She enjoyed watching bull riding and loved to travel and being on the go. Camping and fishing were among her favorites. Pallbearers will be Mark Raber, Mark Raber, Jr., Caleb McPhate, Brandon Akins, Lance Akins and Bill Akins. She is survived by her husband, Billy Owens of Whitesboro; daughters, Belinda Schultz of The Colony and Andrea Raber and husband, Mark of Whitesboro and son, Cody Owens of Whitesboro; 6 grandchildren, Caleb, Kirstyn, Mark, Desiree, Madison and Katie; 2 sisters, Melisa Akins and husband, Bill of Whitesboro and Laura Petty and husband, Freddie of The Colony and a brother, Billy Justice and wife, Shannon of McCurtain County, Oklahoma, as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Katherine Justice.
