Funeral services for Lillian Earline Brown, 81, of Whitesboro, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Legacy Pointe Central Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Joe Patterson and assisted by Lyndell Lee.  A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.

Earline passed into the arms of the Lord on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, Texas.

She was born on September 10, 1937 in Gainesville, Texas to Jessie Curtis and Vera (Carr) Ramsey.  She married J.T. Brown on January 19, 1957 and they were married until his passing in 2003.  Earline was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church for 63 years.  She retired from S&S CISD in the Business Administration office.  Earline loved to travel and spend time with her family.  To her family and friends, she was known as Momma Brown.

She is survived by her son, Lynn “Bubba” Brown of Whitesboro, daughter, Jayline Brown of Whitesboro, daughter, Jana Abernathy and husband, Mark of Whitesboro, four grandchildren, Shawnda, Andrea, Molly and Aaron, two great-grandchildren, Laurelei and Brayton, sister, Daloris Burkhart and husband, Mike of Gainesville, sister-in-law, Betty Starnes and husband, Gene of Whitesboro as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Ken Carden, Danny Carden, Curtis Ramsey, Dawson Clark, Keary Williams, Larry Carter, Jeff Goodman, and Billy Schares.

Earline was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Vera Ramsey, husband, J.T. Brown, granddaughter Alesa Brown and brother, Jan Ramsey.
