May 24, 1921 –  May 16, 2012  COLLINSVILLE â?? Funeral Services for Kathleen Dove, 90, will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville, Texas with Rev. Jerry Davis and Rev. Tar Henderson officiating. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Family visitation will be Friday, May 18, from 6 â?? 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Kathleen passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ in Sherman, Texas.
She was born on May 24, 1921, to Noah and Rosetta (Duck) Heffley in Mt. Judea, Arkansas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville, where she enjoyed her Faithful Workers Sunday school class. She loved to cook for her family. She also loved gardening and painting. She was a very good artist. She also loved taking trips to Arkansas.
She is survived by her children: Darnell Dove and wife, Judy, of Bedford, TX; Johnny Dove and wife, Martine, of Collinsville, TX; and Lana Henderson and husband, Gene, of Collinsville, TX; grandchildren: Dawna Michalke, Tar Henderson, Karen Terry, Jeana Fraser and Shannon Middleton; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Dan Heffley of Denton, TX; twin sister, Maxine Parsons, of Sadler, TX; and sisters: La Rue Bostick of Sherman, TX and Rheba Walker of Collinsville, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Rosetta Heffley; brothers: William G. Heffley, Noah â??Sonnyâ? Heffley, Joe Heffley, and Nick Heffley; and sister, Faye Roberts.
