December 7, 1940 – May 5, 2008 WHITESBORO รข?? Funeral services for Jose Oscar Ramos, 67, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Cristo El Camino Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Debra Urbina officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Viewing will be today from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.
Jose passed away on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Jose was born on December 7, 1940 in Edinburg, Texas to Manuel Ramos and Narcisa Ortiz. He married Maria Teresa Vasquez in June of 1996 in Gainesville, Texas. Jose retired from the City of Whitesboro after many years of service and he attended the Cristo El Camino Church in Whitesboro.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Teresa Ramos of Whitesboro; a son Francisco Munoz of Whitesboro and a daughter, Blanca Sustaita of Whitesboro; 2 brothers, Ruben Rodriguez and Joe Rodriguez of Whitesboro; 5 sisters, Manuela Reyes of Edinburg, Bertha Jimenez of Arkansas, Olga Gutierrez of Oklahoma, Anna Puente and Maria Elena Mendoza of Whitesboro; and two grandchildren.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
