COLLINSVILLE ? Cremation arrangements for Johnny Thompson, Sr., 67, are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. A private service will be held at a later date. He passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013, in Collinsville, Texas.

Johnny was born on April 18, 1946 to Fred and Hattie (Clements) Thompson. He was of the non-denominational faith. He loved riding horses and fishing. He enjoyed being with his family and his children were his life.

He is survived by his sister, Martha Thompson of Muenster; daughter, Debbie Todish of Potlatch, Idaho; Angela Thompson of Whitesboro; son, John M. Thompson, Jr. of Whitesboro; son, Freddie Thompson of Luella; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Hattie Thompson; six sisters and one brother.
