Whitesboro-Memorial services for Johnney Keith Guthrie, 49, will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesboro, Texas with Pastor Jerry Baccus officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro, Texas.

He passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 in Denison, Texas.

Johnney was born February 19, 1964 to Johnney Dewayne and Jewel McCoy Guthrie. He loved his children and attended all their athletic activities. He worked at Cooper B-Line in Sherman, Texas and enjoyed playing video games with his boys. He was all about his children. He also enjoyed the sport of fishing.

He is survived by his sons, Austin and Tyler Guthrie of Whitesboro; his mother, Jewel Guthrie of Whitesboro; brother, Jerry Guthrie of Whitesboro and sister, Barbara Mitchell and husband, Ira of Gordonville, Texas; uncles, Herman McCoy of Holdenville, Oklahoma and aunt Dorothy Ledbetter and husband Harvey of Seminole, Oklahoma and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnney Dewayne Guthrie and Grandparents, M. J. and Mary McCoy; J. O. and Judy Guthrie.

The pallbearers will be Scotty Moody, Johnny Andrews, Ryan Guthrie, Jason Knight, Adam Guerrero, and Anthony Day.
