JENKINSWHITESBORO – Graveside services for Jeffrey Duane Wade Jenkins, 46, will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at the Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation services will be held prior to the Graveside Service from 12:00-1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
He passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014, in Dallas, Texas.
He was born on March 25, 1968 in Pontiac, Michigan to Duane Jenkins and Judith (Jackson) Jenkins. He married Lavada Morris on July 10, 1985 in Waterford, Michigan. They were married for 33 years. Jeffrey was a jack-of-all-trades and most recently was a certified nurse’s assistant.
He is survived by his wife, Lavada Jenkins of Whitesboro; children: Duane Jeffrey Jenkins of Boyd; Jeffrey Carl Jenkins of Azle; Anna Marie Esparza of Whitesboro; Trisha Lynn Jenkins of Fort Worth; Crystal Lynn Jenkins of Whitesboro; seven grandchildren; siblings: Donald Jenkins, Dave Jenkins, Lonnie Jenkins, Joe Jenkins, Wayne Jenkins, Theresa Hawkins, and Karen Gresham; and father, Duane Jenkins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Jenkins.
