Jane Gail Mabry,82, died on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at her home in Marietta, Oklahoma. She was born on August 23, 1937 in Gainesville, TX to Roy and Ivy (Smith) Mabry. Jane married Thomas Voyles on April 30, 1955. Jane was a Gainesville High School Leopards mascot along with being on the dance team “Leopardettes”! At one time Jane and Tommy were member of a motorcycle club going on trips and competing in competitions – she won 1st place in a run which was unheard of during that time. She worked at Texas Instruments as well as a publishing company, with her proudest career accomplishment working at the Winstar Casino since it was the most fun meeting all of the customers “SHE LOVED IT”.

Jane volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program and walked door to door for her favorite political candidate Ralph Smith with her partner Uncle Tony Smith. Her favorite activities were working with her flowers and making her gnome metro the talk of the complex.

She was most proud of having 4 wonderful children, Beverly Smith and husband Ralph, Brenda Guzman, Tommy Voyles and wife Kim, David Voyles and wife Bobbie; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren!

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Christine Johnson, Geraldine Smith, Alvin Mabry, Betty Lorene and Kathleen June.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Butch Coffey her best friend officiating. Visitation will be from 12PM until service time.

Gathering after services will be at VFW Post 1922, 3332 N. Grand Ave, Gainesville, TX
