WHITESBORO ? Funeral services for Jane Dutton, 83, will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Patterson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sandusky, Texas. Visitation services will be held prior to the funeral service at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 p.m.

Jane Dutton went to her final home going on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Texas Presbyterian Health, WNJ in Sherman, Texas.

She was born on September 7, 1930 to Walter and Julia (Blackley) Jones in Denison, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of Grayson County, Texas. She was a member of Legacy Pointe Central Baptist Church in Whitesboro, Texas. She met and married the love of her life, Joe V. Dutton on October 24, 1947. Mrs. Dutton was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She worked at various stores in the local area. She loved being around people. She loved to cook and always found an ?occasion to do so?.

She is survived by granddaughter, Janey Dutton, of Whitesboro; granddaughter and husband, Sandra and Johnny Thompson; three great-grandchildren: Tori, Rylee, and Ethan Thompson of Gainesville, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Martha Renfroe, of Whitesboro; and very special nephew, Loyd Dutton and wife, Angela, of Whitesboro; as well as a host of other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dutton; son, Joe David Dutton; grandson, Matthew Garrett Dutton; parents, Walter and Julia Jones; and brother, W. D. Jones.
