December 31, 1942 –  September 19, 2015  COLLINSVILLE- James Richard Sarder, 72, of Collinsville died September 19, 2015, at home with his family by his side. There are no services planned. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, Texas.He was born to Roland Carriveau and Mary Sarder on December 31, 1942, in Stambaugh, Michigan. He married Martha Ann Bridwell on November 2, 1986, in Rockwall, Texas. He enjoyed carpentry, football, baseball, and working in his yard. He was retired from the Maintenance Department at Austin College. He loved his family and especially, his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Sarder of Collinsville; daughter, Debra Kirkwood of Durant, Ok; son, Buddy Childs of Ft. Worth, Texas, and 2 grandchildren, Matt Cox and Courtney Pruner; 4 great-grandchildren, Brody and Chloe Cox and Grace and Sydney Pruner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Carriveau and Mary Sarder.
