April 28, 1919 –  May 22, 2015  Funeral services for James Lee Fox, 96, of Frisco, Texas, will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesboro, Texas, with Rev. Jerry Hays, Valwood Park Baptist Church, Farmers Branch, Texas, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.He died Friday, May 22, 2015 at his home in Frisco, Texas. He was born to John and Lutie (Reed) Fox on April 28, 1919 in Gunter, Texas.
He was a member of Valwood Park Baptist Church of Farmers Branch where he served as a Deacon. He served in the United States Navy as a machinist and was a member of UDT #6 “Frogmen”.
Pallbearers will be Jon Bailey, Ben Bailey, Ronnie Brian, Michael Brian, Ryan Bailey and Ronnie Bruno.
He is survived by his daughters, Norma Bailey and husband, Robert of Frisco; Helen Brian and husband, Ron of Carrollton and Patricia Bough and husband, Bill of South Padre Island; grandsons, Jon Bailey and wife, Jodi of Little Elm; Ben Bailey and wife, Krista of Frisco and Ronnie Brian II of Aurora, CO and Michael Brian of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kylie Bailey of Little Elm, Madison Starr Bailey of Frisco, Lexi Brian of San Pedro, CA and River Brian III of Aurora, CO; sisters, Lorene Burrow of Houston and Doris Pirtle of Alvord and brother, Billy Fox and wife, Doris of Garland; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lutie Fox, his wife, Ethel Helen Cooley Fox and wife, Rhetha Johnson Fox and third wife, Mary Hoar Fox.
