James “Jimmy” Arlie Lloyd, 76, of Whitesboro passed away at the Pecan Tree Health and Rehab in Gainesville, Texas on March 11, 2021.   He was born on October 5, 1944 in Gainesville, Texas to Lewis and Alice Hawkins Lloyd.  Jimmy attended Gainesville schools and worked in the oilfield all of his life.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Brenda Kincy Lloyd; daughter, Kay Neu and husband, Steve of Lindsay, Texas; sons, Kenny Lloyd and wife, Sandra of Whitesboro and Kincy Lloyd and wife, Kaitlin of Sanger, Texas brother, David Lloyd; and sister, Barbara Morrow and 8 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Norman and Bobby Lloyd; sister, JoNell Carter, and 2 grandchildren, Brandon Neu and Kennedy Lloyd.

There will be a private family memorial held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Gainesville.
