October 12, 1945 –  May 4, 2013  WHITESBORO-Funeral services for Jacky Lynn Boyd, 67, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Sherman Bible Church, Sherman, Texas with Andy Boyd officiating, assisted by Pastor Denny Henderson. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the funeral home.
Jacky passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ in Sherman, Texas.

He was born on October 12, 1945 in Wichita Falls to Timothy Lusk Boyd and Estelle (Horn) Boyd. He married Rebecca Aliene ?Becky? Herion in 1966 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Jacky enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting knives and the company of his dog, John-John.

Survivors include sons, Andy Boyd and wife, Tammy of Sherman, Keith Boyd and wife, Tammy of Whitesboro; brothers, Jimmy P. Boyd and wife, Susie of Wichita Falls, Jerry Boyd and wife, Renee of Gillette, Wyoming, Thomas ?Bud? Boyd and wife, Regina of Sherman; sister, Dolloris ?Sissy? Howard and husband, Eddy of Wichita Falls; and a sister-in-law, Mary Lynn Boyd of Wichita Falls; 4 grandchildren, Kaelynn Boyd, Kelsey Boyd, Justin Boyd and Samantha Harris and husband, Pat.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy and Estelle Boyd; wife, Becky Boyd; and a brother, David Boyd.

The pallbearers will be Justin Boyd, Zac Stonecipher, Pat Harris, Garry Ludlam,Timmy Boyd, Brian Boyd, Joshua Martinez and Barrett Shirey.
