January 6, 1920 –  November 20, 2005  WHITESBORO â?? Funeral services for Herman L. Gressett, age 85, will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 P.M. Monday, November 21, 2005 at the funeral home.
Mr. Gressett passed away Sunday, November 20, 2005 at his home in Whitesboro.

He was born January 6, 1920 to William Thomas and Margaret Lâ??Nora (Ketner) Gressett in Howe, Texas. He married Thelma Mullins on August 9, 1941 in Pilot Point. He retired from the Texas Highway Maintenance Department and he was also a farmer. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Tioga.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Gressett of Whitesboro; son, Dale Gressett and wife Cheryl of Tioga; Daughters, Glenda Wood of Sadler and Pat Hedrick and husband Roy of Gunter; 3 Brothers, Raymond Gressett of Southmayd, Eddie Gressett of Collinsville and Dave Gressett of Tioga; 3 Sisters, Dessie Haker of Murphy, Marie Raulston of Van Alstyne and Vera Skipworth of Sherman; 6 Grandchildren and 13 Great â?? Grandchildren.

Pallbearers are: Grandsons, Steve Gressett, Danny Gressett, Lance Wood, Brent Wood, Shane Hedrick and Gary Burchett.
