January 28, 1930 –  December 14, 2012  GAINESVILLE – Funeral Services for Helen Marie Wyatt, 82, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jordan Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Dennis Vaughn, Terry Vaughn, Craig Smith, Nathan Wyatt, Bryan Wyatt and Cody Erwin serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Helen passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville.

She was born on Jan. 28, 1930 to Robert Emmett Tatum and Ollie Rose (Strickland) Tatum in Era. She married W.C. Wyatt on July 11, 1959 in Gainesville. She was a wonderful homemaker and caregiver to her friends and family. She was a member of the Harvey Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include 4 children, Linda Vaughn and husband, Dickey of Abilene, William Eugene Wyatt of Denton, Ron Wyatt and wife, Debbie of Gainesville, and Nancy Murray and husband, Bill of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ollie Rose Tatum; husbands, Bill Wariner and W.C. Wyatt; sons, Darral Wyatt and Linden Ray Wyatt; daughter, Elaine Smith; granddaughter, Heather Wolfe; brothers, Herman Tatum and Jim Tatum; and a sister, Dorothy McLerran;
