November 24, 1914 –  August 2, 2006  Sadler â?? Funeral Services for Hazle B. (Jackson) Stowe, 91 will be 10 A.M. Friday, August 4, 2006 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Dr. Roy Spore officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery. There is no formal visitation planned.
Mrs. Stowe passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Whitesboro Nursing Center.

She was born November 24, 1914 in Page, OK to William Andrew and Anna Mae (McCartey) Jackson. She married Samuel Calvin Stowe on July 24, 1936 in Houston. She was a graduate Southeastern State College in Durant, OK with a Masters Degree in Education. She taught school in North Dunbar, OK, Dunbar, OK, Clayton, OK, Stanley, OK and Bevans, OK. She also worked for Consolidated Aircraft in San Diego, CA during WW II as a â??Rosie the Riveterâ?. She was a member of 1st United Methodist Church in Whitesboro.

Survivors include 2 sons, Paul David Stowe and wife Wanda of Sadler and William Worth Stowe and wife Norma of Gordonville; a daughter, Edythe Ryan of Sadler; a brother, Leon Jackson of Midwest City, OK; 2 sisters, Reba Jewell Hairrell of Midwest City, OK and Ila B. Richardson of Finley, OK; 6 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Calvin Stowe; a son, Calvin Joseph Stowe; a grandson, David Ryan; 6 brothers, Phil Jackson, Virgil Jackson, Ollie Jackson, Jim Tom Jackson, Oscar Jackson and William Newell Jackson; 2 sisters, Maudie Stone and Edythe Pritchard.

Pallbearers are Eric Stowe, Chris Coulston, Calvin Stowe, Gary Jackson, Jerry Jackson, Nicholas Coleman and Lyle Jackson.
