August 9, 1932 –  October 14, 2009  GAINESVILLE-Harold Loyd Bryant, 77, passed away October 14, 2009 at his home in Gainesville. A memorial service will planned at a later date. Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro is in charge of cremation arrangements
He was born on August 9, 1932 to Loyd Earl and Bertha (Burch) Bryant in Cooke County, Texas. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Nellie (Cox) Bryant; two sons, Michael and Randall Claude Bryant and one grandson, Sean Bryant, all of Gainesville; a brother, Luther Ray Bryant and wife Mary Lee of Dallas; and a sister, Nell Rudd and husband, Bill of Garland; 2 step granddaughters, Elisha Williard and Natasha Willard and their eight children. Also a very special little girl, Skylar, who captured Haroldâ??s heart.

Harold served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked in Shoe Factories in Texas and Arkansas and retired from Weber Aircraft after 30 years of employment. He was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church for 30 years, serving in any place he was needed until his health problems began. He was also a 50 year member of the Collinsville Masonic Lodge #433 A.F.& A.M.
