Murray Vandagriff, 84, Arlington, Texas formerly of Gainesville, passed away May 25, 2016 at the Arlington Heritage Oaks Nursing Home in Arlington. She was born to Rodger E. Murray, Sr. and Roxie (McKnight) Murray on December 12, 1931 in Gainesville.. She married Ray Vandagriff.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. A visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, May 27th from 6 to 8:00 p.m.

Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Smith and son in law Robert of Arlington; sons, Justin Dennis and Randy Dennis both of Arlington; three sisters, Beverly Norvell of Gainesville, Mavis Ogle of Haslet and Yevonne Russell of Collinsville; two brothers, Clifford Murray of Collinsville and Norman Murray of Gainesville; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Willis C. Dennis, Ed Bogard and Ray Vandagriff.
