Glennys Damewood passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Damewood.
Glennys is survived by her son, Douglas Damewood and wife, Theadis, their children, Darren, JoEllyn, and Coleman Damewood and wife, Shelley, daughter, Beverly Roy and husband, Terry, their son, James Roy, son, James Kevin Damewood, son, Eric Damewood and wife, Lisa, their children, Christian Damewood and wife, Tiffani, Zoe Damewood, Amberly Jeffrey and husband, Adam, and Autum Spann as well as six great-grandchildren, Tristyn Damewood, Gracyn Damewood, Haley Perrier, Shye Waite, Scott Jeffrey and Odin Jeffrey
The family would like to thank Kingsway Home for their excellent care of Glennys and VNA for all that they did for Ms. Damewood during the many months of her illness.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in her name to First Baptist Church of Whitesboro at 124 Center St. Whitesboro, TX 76273.
I love Glennys. She was a sweet member of the Parlor Ladies Class at FBC. We will miss her sweet spirit! She is dancing in heaven! Right where she wanted to be. You
I remember Glennys from Plano and she was such a sweet lady. I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Glennys is no longer suffering. The book of Isaiah 25:8 mentions that soon God will do away with Death and he promises a Resurrection and soon we will get to see Glennys again.

What a loving and caring women! Always so sweet and kind to Bart and I. Such a loss, but I know she’s found peace in heaven!
